HOW DOES FAMILY MEDIATION WORK?
You will be offered a series of meetings, initially after a free assessment session with one or two mediators. The assessment is the chance for you and the mediator to decide whether mediation is the right way forward for you and your situation. If mediation is suitable you will be offered a series of meetings. You will have a comfortable and informative setting; we will help you collect all the relevant information; we will help you discuss and explore possible arrangements to suit the parties involved.
HOW MUCH WILL FAMILY MEDIATION COST AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We charge a standard fee for separation and divorce mediation. We charge per individual per session. You can ask about the cost of mediation, before confirming that you want a mediator to work with you.
How long it will take depends on the complexity of your circumstances, but mediation typically takes between 3-4 meetings.
