Kairali TV was launched in Europe on 28th August 2006. The channel was brought to Europe by Terra Group Of Companies. Due to the request of a vast number of subscribers to initiate a channel package offering customers 2-3 channels for a single price, Terra Group launched a second channel in October 2006 – Amrita Television. The channels are now known under an umbrella titled as “TERRA's Malayalam Channel Package - (TMCP) ”.
