Super Star Global London audition on July 8; winner gets a Mercedes Benz

After redefining music reality shows on South Indian television through 'Super Star' and 'Super Star Junior', Amrita TV is now taking the show to a new level through 'Super Star Global'. The winner of 'Super Star Global' bags a world-class car — the one and only Mercedes Benz.

If you are in the 16-25 age group, aspiring to enjoy the dizzy heights of musical glory and worldwide recognition, Amrita TV opens the doors yet once again – with 'Super Star Global'.

To cater to music aspirants beyond Kerala 'Super Star Global' plans to hold auditions in London, Dubai and Bangalore besides Trivandrum, Cochin and Calicut.

Amrita TV & Kairali TV will be free to air from May 25

"Super Dancer",the most talked-about show, especially among the youth, has now reached its next level .You will now see the Final 20 who made it to the show.

This fortunate band of 20 live-wires have made it to the fascinating Super Dancer" reality show after a gruelling selection process which saw some unbelievable wealth of hidden talent come out on to your mini screens .Get to know the names and faces of the twenty young girls and boys who made it to the first level.

Over 1500 aspirants in the 16-25 age-group from Kerala, Mumbai, et al had applied for this exciting contest. They went through an elaborate prelim selection process at Amrita TV's studio in Trivandrum. From here, 200 were shortlisted for Final Auditions at Cochin and finally 20 contestants, made it to the "Super Dancer" show on the channel.

The auditions jury panel comprised upcoming actor Aravind (Nandanam) and noted film choreographer, Kala Master from Chennai, who has choreographed over 3600 film songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi for directors like Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan, K.Balachander, Fazil and Kamal Hassan.

"Super Dancer" is conceived as a mega talent hunt to discover and showcase unique forms of dance by the youth focusing on versatile contestants who can dance to any tune, any style, and possessing the right attitude.

Each of the shortlisted candidate will undergo professional grooming & dance orientation sessions including stress management modules.

A renowned panel of jury will be conducting the on-air shows while the eliminations and selection of winner will be through public sms voting.

Amrita TV returns with another stunning show 'Vanitharatnam'

After the super hit reality TV shows 'Superstar' and 'Junior Superstar' Amrita TV is now back with a bang with yet another stunning show titled Vanitharatnam which purports to be a search for the Super Mom.

This programme will be a blend of both reality and stage show, showcasing women who balance motherhood and womanhood.

The programme will assess various competencies of the contestants which will include their special skills such as singing, dancing, acting and communication, as well as skills at home and the workplace, including self-confidence to handle impromptu situations.

Out of hundred of aspirants who were auditioned at Trivandrum, Cochin and Calicut, fifteen hopefuls were selected.

The program seeks to discover the best mom in the state through a series of statewide auditions. The outcomes of the latter stages of this competition is wholly determined by public voting.

The format features prominent judges who critique the contestants' performances in order to facilitate the voting. The reality shows originated from UK's 'Pop Idol' which was later emulated by the famous American Idol.

Besides a panel of judges comprising of celebrities, the elimination rounds will be through public voting for this SMS based contest. Vanitharatnam which carries a first prize of Rs.5 Lakhs worth of Gold will be aired starting April 9th (Monday to Friday at 3.30pm, 8pm, 12am – UK time).
